British High Commissioner Visit to Yendi

On Friday, 25th August, 2023, I enjoyed the honour of hosting in my residence in Yendi, the British High Commissioner to Ghana, Her Excellency Harriet Thompson who was on an official visit to Yendi as part of diplomatic overtures to strengthen ties and establish relationships that will attract the neccesary support systems for the people. The High Commissioner on her arrival together with myself paid a courtesy call on Ndan-Naa Abukari Mahama ll, the Overlord of Dagbon and we furthered discussions on how we can build synergy and work around the clock to ensure the realisation of all areas of engagement. We also made a visit to the Zakoli community to pick a firsthand experience of the living conditions of the people so as to work around a support system to raise living standards of the community. I also positioned Yendi as a pristine investment destination. Yendi is a commercial hub endowed with vast resources, including agriculture, skilled-youth, human resources, tourism, and arts and culture, and therefore I welcomed the business community around the world to come do business in Yendi.
