HON.FAROUK ALIU MAHAMA DONATES TO SUPPORT HEALTH DELIVERY AT YENDI HOSPITAL

Hon.Farouk Aliu Mahama, the Member of Parliament for Yendi has extended his benevolence to the Yendi Municipal Hospital by way of donation of some medical apparatus, a cash amount and illumination bulbs.

The donation of the medical items was made during the commissioning of an ultra-modern Emergency and Trauma Centre to upgrade the emergency response system of the hospital. The Honourable MP, whilst speaking at the event indicated that the new Emergency and Trauma Centre was of immense essence since Yendi is the major town along the northern-half of the Eastern Corridor and the hospital must be in a position to handle severe accidenf cases.

He said the heleath sector was one of his utmost priorities and would provide the neccesary support to promote quality health care services in the constituency. The items donated included 50 Blood Pressure Monitoring machines, 30 Glucose Monitoring equipment, 20 streetlightening bulbs and a cash amount of Ghc10,000. He intimated that he donated the lightening bulbs to ensure that the entirety of the hospital is illuminated to provide a safe environment for workers and patients.

Hon.Farouk Aliu Mahama assured them of his unceasing support to the facility and indicated his readiness to work hand-in-hand with all entities to provide quality health care for his people. The Medical Supritendent, Dr. Ayuba Abdulai, who led the receipt on behalf of the hospital thanked the Member of Parliament for his continuous support to facility.
